  • Rice
  • Orange juice
  • Saffron
  • Green Chilli
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Bay leaf
  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom
  • Star anise
  • Fresh coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Soak the rice in warm water for 30 minutes
  • Add oil in a pan and cook on medium heat. When oil is hot, add the whole spices and cook for 40 seconds. Add green chilli.
  • Add rice and saute for another minute Add, water as needed,salt, saffron and orange juice close the lid and cook the rice, stirring it occasionally
  • Fluff the cooked Pulav and serve it with raita or any gravy. Garnish with fresh orange slices and coriander leaves.
