  • 2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 litre milk
  • 100 Gram Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
  • For garnish: Almonds and pistachio


  • 1. Boil milk in a thick bottom pan until it becomes half
  • 2. In another pan add ghee and coconut. roast the coconut but not color change and keep it aside
  • 3. Add sugar in milk and mix well. Then add coconut and mix well
  • 4. Stir continuously for 10-15 minutes until all liquid evaporates and add cardamom powder
  • 5. Cook for 5 minutes until its thick and lumps are formed
  • 6. Grease a thali with ghee and transfer that mixture into thali. Spread it evenly and add the almonds and pistachio for garnishing
  • 7. Let it cool and then cut into desired pieces and serve
