  • 2 cups Basmati
  • 3 ½ cups Boiling water
  • 2 Cinnamon
  • 4 Cardamom
  • 6 Clove
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lime juice
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Wash and soak the rice for 15 minutes. Drain the water and keep aside.Heat ghee in a pan and add cinnamon, cardamom, clove, bay leaf, and rice. Stir for 5 minutes.
  • Add boiling water, salt, and lime juice. Cover and cook on low flame till the water is dried completely and the rice is cooked. Separate the cooked rice with a fork.Garnish with fried onion and roasted cashew nuts.Serve with any veg or nonveg curry of your choice.
